BuildHaze Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by BuildHaze Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing a bundle or custom service, the client (“you”, “your”) agrees to these Terms.

Every website is a complete, functional digital product delivered live (ready-to-use).

Services include:

• Full custom design & development.
• Assistance with domain installation or transfer to the new website.
• A clear tutorial for initial hosting setup and usage.

By default, most websites are built on Shopify, which we strongly recommend due to:

• High-speed hosting,
• The best price-to-quality ratio,
• Flexibility and scalability for businesses of all sizes.

For packages under €3,000, all payments are required 100% upfront.

For orders exceeding €3,000, you may request a formal agreement and flexible payment schedule. Otherwise, standard checkout applies.

Projects begin only after:

• Payment has been confirmed, and
• The client approves the final project scope (via form, email, or written confirmation).

Payments are generally non-refundable, even if the client changes their mind after purchase. By confirming the project, the client expressly agrees that BuildHaze may begin providing the service immediately. The client understands that, once the service has begun, the statutory right of withdrawal (14 days under EU/OUG 34/2014) no longer applies.

Refunds are only possible in exceptional cases where BuildHaze fails entirely to deliver a functional website within the confirmed scope. In all other cases, BuildHaze may — at its sole discretion and without obligation — consider partial refunds or project credits as a gesture of goodwill.

Please make sure you purchase responsibly and with clarity regarding your chosen package. If you have any questions or uncertainties before purchasing, please contact us first — we are happy to guide you in choosing the right option for your needs.

Once the client approves the project scope, major changes after confirmation are not included in the bundle.

Additional modifications require a new agreement or extra fees.

Estimated delivery times are specified in bundles (e.g., 2 days, 5 days).

Timelines apply after project confirmation, not after initial payment.

If BuildHaze exceeds the estimated delivery time, the client acknowledges that delays may occur in complex digital projects.

In such cases:

• BuildHaze guarantees completion of the project in full.
• Delays do not entitle the client to refunds, penalties, or compensation.
• Clients are asked to excuse minor delays, as quality and completeness of delivery remain our top priorities.

A “revision” means a reasonable adjustment to elements already delivered, such as:

• text corrections,
• color or font adjustments,
• replacement of images,
• small layout or design tweaks,
• or a combination of the above.

A revision does not include:

• adding new pages or features not part of the purchased package,
• a full redesign after the project scope has been confirmed,
• changing the platform (e.g., Shopify → WordPress),
• replacing the entire branding after approval.

The number of revisions included is clearly specified in each bundle, as described on buildhaze.com.

Any additional revisions beyond the included amount will require a new agreement or extra fees.

Revisions must be requested during the active delivery period. Once the project has been delivered and confirmed by the client, further changes are treated as paid support or new services.

Certain design requests or features may be technically impractical, incompatible with the chosen platform (e.g., Shopify, WordPress), or outside the capabilities of the purchased package. In such cases, BuildHaze reserves the right to reasonably refuse the request, or to propose alternative solutions that achieve a similar result.

Clients may provide their own texts, images, and logos.

If not available, BuildHaze can create personalized content, AI-generated visuals, and logos within the limits of the purchased bundle.

Unlimited iterations are not included — work is adapted within scope and time constraints.

For more details regarding client responsibility and limitations on provided or created content, please refer to Section 17 (Client Content Responsibility).

Upon full payment, ownership of the website and its assets transfers to the client.

BuildHaze may showcase the project in its portfolio only with the client’s explicit approval.

Support after delivery is based on the bundle purchased.

In certain cases, BuildHaze may assist during the first week after delivery if an issue is directly caused by our implementation.

Ongoing maintenance is available as a separate, paid service.

BuildHaze assists in configuring hosting and domain connections, but the client remains responsible for subscriptions and accounts (Shopify, WordPress, or others).

BuildHaze is not responsible for:

• Price changes of hosting platforms,
• Terms & conditions updates from Shopify/WordPress,
• Service interruptions caused by third parties.

Our responsibility ends with delivering a fully functional website at the time of handover.

Refunds are not available once payment has been made and the project has been confirmed.

The only exception is if BuildHaze fails entirely to deliver a functional website within the confirmed scope.

All data, files, and project-related information are confidential and used exclusively for delivering the project.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania / European Union, unless otherwise specified in a separate contract.

The primary communication channel is email, which serves as the official and binding record for all project details, approvals, and confirmations.

Depending on the project stage, BuildHaze may also use additional channels (such as phone calls, video meetings, or messaging platforms) for convenience. However, final confirmations, approvals, and project decisions will always be recorded by email.

Clients are responsible for:

• providing a correct and active email address,
• ensuring their contact details are accurate and up to date,
• reviewing and replying to BuildHaze emails within a reasonable timeframe.

BuildHaze cannot be held responsible for delays, losses, or miscommunications caused by:

• incorrect or inactive email addresses,
• client failure to check or respond to messages,
• missing, blocked, or redirected emails on the client’s side.

Please use an available email and, where required, a correct phone number to ensure smooth communication and account transfers.

Once the project and all credentials have been transferred into the client’s possession, BuildHaze is no longer responsible for managing those accounts or services.

By accepting these Terms, the client agrees that BuildHaze reserves the right to choose the most efficient communication method for the project while ensuring clarity and transparency.

A project is considered delivered when BuildHaze provides the client with access to the live website and confirms completion via email.

If the client does not raise specific objections within 2 business days, the project is deemed accepted.

BuildHaze is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: internet outages, platform failures (Shopify, WordPress, hosting providers), strikes, pandemics, or legal restrictions.

BuildHaze develops and delivers websites using the information, texts, images, and materials provided by the client, or — where such materials are unavailable or if the client prefers — by creating custom visuals and content through our team and trusted software solutions.

The client is fully responsible for ensuring that all provided or requested materials are:

• original and not copied from third parties,
• accurate and appropriate for their business,
• lawful and compliant with applicable regulations.

BuildHaze does not independently verify or guarantee the ownership or legality of client-provided materials. If any content supplied by the client is later found to be copied, inaccurate, or unlawful, BuildHaze assumes no liability.

Once the project scope has been confirmed by the client, BuildHaze cannot be held responsible for disputes, claims, or issues that may arise from the chosen content.

In addition, BuildHaze may create or adapt visuals, images, and other design elements to match the client’s preferences and brand identity. Such creative work will always be carried out within the limits of reasonableness, professional standards, and the scope of the purchased package. While we are open to finding the best version that aligns with the client’s taste, this process does not imply unlimited iterations or endless redesigns.

Furthermore, BuildHaze does not create, adapt, or publish content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or infringing on copyrights or third-party rights. Should any material raise legal or ethical concerns, BuildHaze may request alternative content or adjust the material to ensure compliance.

In the event of disputes, complaints, or claims relating to client-provided content, full responsibility rests with the client.

BuildHaze’s total liability under these Terms is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project.

BuildHaze is not responsible for indirect damages such as lost profits, reputational harm, or business interruption.

By purchasing a service, bundle, or custom project from BuildHaze, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

The client understands and agrees that certain descriptive elements on buildhaze.com (such as texts, internal scores, reviews, or visual examples) may be updated or corrected internally and may not always reflect in real time on the public website.

These internal updates do not affect the scope, features, or quality of the purchased packages.

All packages and services are delivered exactly as described and confirmed at the time of purchase.
